Locally developed course enrolment in secondary schools

Locally developed courses are developed by school boards to accommodate educational needs that are not met through courses offered by the provincial curriculum. These courses require approval of the Ministry of Education, with the exception of religious education courses developed by Roman Catholic school boards. Data is organized by school board and includes: * board number * board name * course code * course description * grade * pathway or destination * enrolment Students enrolled in a course more than once are counted each time they enroll. Course enrolment data is reported by schools to the Ontario School Information System. The following secondary school types are included: * public * Catholic To protect privacy, numbers are suppressed in categories with less than 10 students. Starting 2018-2019, enrolment numbers have been rounded to the nearest five.
