The dataset shows establishments that were open at least one day in CNESST systems, for the calendar year presented.
An institution is defined as follows in the Occupational Health and Safety Act: “all installations and equipment grouped together on the same site and organized under the authority of the same person or related persons, for the purpose of the production or distribution of goods or services, except for a construction site; this word includes in particular a school, a construction company as well as the premises provided by the employer to the provision of the worker for accommodation, food or leisure purposes, with the exception however private premises for residential use” LSST, RLRQ, Chapter S-2.1.
Also, the same employer can have several associated establishments.
In order to ensure respect for privacy and the protection of personal information, complaints are listed using an anonymous numerical identifier, created for the dataset.
