Fruit Juice Authenticity Summary Data

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) collected samples of fruit juice to verify accurate representation of their composition. The juice samples were tested for authenticity by assessing the soluble solids, mineral, organic acids, preservative and sugar content of the products. Fruit juice adulteration can be done by adding sugars or acids, diluting with water, or substituting with less expensive juices (for example apple).
