The Ministerial Transition Briefing Material is a collection of information created to support the introduction of appointed Ministers after an election. The Transport Canada briefing materials were designed to be digital and open by default to be a key reference tool long after the initial transition as well. The transition material provides an overview of Transport Canada's mandate and structure, other agencies and authorities in the Minister's portfolio, current topics, key events in the first few months, roles and responsibilities, as well as some key process guidance.
