Food Microbiology - Targeted Surveys - Final Report - Bacterial Pathogens in Cold Brewed Coffee - April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019

​​A targeted survey analysed 59 samples of cold brewed coffee for the following bacteria: Salmonella, E. coli O157, Aerobic Colony Count and generic E. coli. Salmonella, E. coli O157 and generic E. coli were not found in any of the samples. Aerobic Colony Counts were found in 15 samples. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency conducted appropriate follow-up activities. No product recalls were required.
